I am looking for a grain mill nearby. About a year ago my husband and I were driving around and saw one somewhere between Dickson and Waverly (I think..LOL) But I don't remember the name. Does anyone know of one in the Mid Tn area?

Thanks

Rachel
That feed mill between Dickson and Waverly would be:
Abernathy's feed mill
Address:
10290 Us Highway 70 E, McEwen, TN 37101
Phone:(931) 582-6286

They can do a custom mix but I think they are limited on some Grains and sizes depending on what you want. I would give them a call first.
For those not afraid of Soy (high protein) they have that in crush. One of the guys who works there and told me he raises chickens and mixes his own blend. He fixed me up with some 28% Mash for my Quail chicks.

Yup, it has scabbed over. There is a great product that you can use on any animal, including spraying it in their mouths, etc without side effects. I have a cockatiel that had his little upper beak ripped off when a cockatoo broke into his cage and injured him. I was sure it was Andie's last day, but two years later, he has a flat upper beak and tongues or scoops his food into his mouth.

Anyway, if you would like to use something on this to help with healing, get a bottle of Vetericyn. It's expensive, but you spray just a little and it really works. Plus, after Andie's beak healed better than our vet thought it would, I wrote to the company. They used my story about Andie and sent me a free $35.00 bottle of Vetericyn!

I highly recommend keeping a bottle of it around. At the zoo, they even used in on a sting ray. I have even used it on myself (don't tell anyone) ;) I use it for any little injury and used it on my Buff Orpington when I saw a small injury at the top of her beak. It was healed within days.

Ok I need help. My cream legbar wattle is still red but has like this one part that is dark and looks kinda like a scab close up. She does not act different and was still eating and drinking. Has anyone else seen this before?
Looks like she stuck her head in a tight spot and scraped it. Neosporin should do the trick.

Oh yeah and what Auntphibian said about the Veterycin.

Awesome thanks

UPDATE on Troy's Wife..... he has been working very hard to get all the doorways wider for her wheelchair. His church family helped build a new ramp to get her in the house and she is GOING HOME TODAY! YEAH FOR THEM! She still has some recover to do but she is doing really well. Has taken a few steps on her own, eats anything she wants and can communicate some. Maybe some normalcy will help her spirits and she will improve rapidly now.
