Anybody around the Knoxville area know of anybody that has bluetick coonhounds?? Looking for young dog. Doesn't need papers. Having to spend tons on new house land coops fencing etc etc. LOL. So really not looking to spend a lot. Just thought I would throw it out there.

There has been a Walker Coon Hound hanging around the house for the last few days. I would be glad for you to have him! He is mature but looks young.

How much are you asking for a tom and where are you located? I have 5 black Spanish hens who are tom-less right now. They all decided to wander into our neighbors yard the other day and their dog got him. Of course, 5 hens and one tom, and the tom got killed :/

I'd prefer to have another black Spanish to go with them, though, if anyone knows a breeder. This breed has been super hard to find

Sandhill Preservation has Black Spanish. They would be sold out by now but you could get poults in the spring. Place your order as early as you can after the first of the year.

I wanted to ask if any of you have had a chick hatch that seems to breath through it's mouth. This chick is a beak breather. It huffs and huffs. It was weak and shrinkwrapped but had pierced a hole to the outside to breath. I helped it a bit and it finally kicked out of its egg. The yolk was just barely enclosed. I had to tape its legs because they splayed. It hate it and keeps pecking it to get it loose. It has gotten stronger but it doesn't seem interested in water or food yet. It is 2 days old. I made it drink a few drops of water today but that made his breathing start clicking like he had aspirated some of the water.

I also was wondering if any of you can identify what color this chick might feather out (if it makes it).
