I'm for sure looking forward to it, i want a colorful egg basket to, that's why I wish I had ordered the Maran with the others. O well I might try and find one locally somewhere?

There is a breeder list for this area started for us by DM Rippy… you can find it on her profile……I got my Copper Maran from her and she lays beautiful dark chocolate eggs.

We are getting an olive Egger, Easter Egger, Buff Orpington and a Barred Rock. I really wish I had orderd a Black cooper Maran as well now.

How many chickens do you have and how many are you getting in April?
I've got birchen marans and black copper marans in the incubator right now that will be hatching in April. I certainly can't keep all of them!

That is not good. My sugery was way worse than therapy. But they found my knee cap was not straight and had to pull everything lose to move it. I was buised from my hip down to below my knee. Hubby did some therapy before and it did do some good....but did hurt. They were impressed I had that much movement before they started.

For my rotator cuff surgery the therapy was worse. But the worst part was sleeping in a recliner for 6 weeks and gaining 20 lbs.

Ok... Ya'll are worrying me. I see the surgeon tomorrow about my torn rotator cuff. Are you aware that every recliner I've ever seen has its lever on the RIGHT side? I am seriously not gonna like this am i? I already can't get out of the recliner by myself with my shoulder this way.

You will learn to squirm out and flop into the recliner. I have had both sides done 2 years apart and the recliner is second only to physical therapy for the worst part of it. Be sure they give you a block. That will give you a good first 3 days anyway.
The recliner is way better than trying to lay down though.

That was exactly my problem. But as it worked out I got an electric one from my brother-in-law. My mother-in-law had passed away and he was storing it. It was definitely my salvation. Only problem, they don't make those really big but I made do. Lived in it for 6 weeks. If you could use it, it's in my garage. Looks a little rough but still functions.

I probably have WAY more than I need, but I have not had time to even look.I am getting a TON of marans eggs out of my grow out pens (that is how far behind I am..... I even found a blue egg in one of my youngest brooder boxes) I probably have some birchen pullets I don't need. I can help with a colorful basket but it will be a few weeks.

This house remodel is KILLING ME!

You need to invest in a recliner with a remote or push buttons.

I had a block too….definitely ask for that….and the PT will be worse than the surgery itself, my Mom had it done, she just sat in a chair and a half with an ottoman and had no trouble getting out and the rest of the time she just sat in bed. Good luck!
