Happy Easter!

Have a bunch of quail chicks. My SP Bantam Wyandotte hen that I got from Donna has an injured hip. She was so depressed yesterday she would not eat or drink. I grabbed 3 of the baby quail out of the brooder and gave them to her. They are now all snuggled up under her and she ate and drank today. I have ordered a chicken diaper because this looks like it is going to be a long recovery. The hip was out of place and after soaking her in warm water I was able to get it to go back in but he leg while not limp isn't able to support her, possible from pain. Today though is the first time I have folded it up underneath her and she hasn't stretched it out behind her right away so maybe we are making progress.



I got some of her with the quail today. I will get them off the phone and upload them tomorrow.

OK, if I put my brooder outside then I'm making 50 trips outside to the barn!!! Or I can set it in the dining room and make 50 trips thru there. Lol.

I do about 4 plus months old. I will have to see what I have in silkies but I have 2 flocks for sale. Might have some mutt silkies. I also have white leghorns and lots of other pretty color leghorns some are laying.

Okay great! If you have time let me know some details on what all you are wanting to sell!

I have not hatched any more. I really have cut down on my hatches....lol. It will be 2 weeks maybe before the next one.
