Hey Okla, had a good time at tim and susie`s First Time there and yes it was worth the drive. Got there early and as they say early bird gets the worm, we ended up getting 3 hens and 1 roo of the partridge cochin bantams, and a pair of buff brahmas and also got a brooder. had alot of people that tried to purchase what I got but the man said sold already they wanted to know who got them. Hope you had a good time where you was but as you know trying to make all the sales or auctions that was today was impossible for me......................

Good Morning all....been quite busy at work the past couple of days
I can't wait to get my Jack Splash hen today after work YAY!!! On another note it's day 21 on my blue and black copper Marans eggs from raven1...so far this morning 4 were out and a few others pipped...
I will get pics when they get done.... hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weekend!!!!
We made some tough decisions over the past few days. With my schedule now so busy..so much time at the gym and my Scout schedule is crazy..add some rabbit shows homeschooling and once in awhile a minute to sleep I'm cutting most of my Large birds
Some are staying but most of my project colors I just can't continue to work to improve..and since I strongly believe no one should be breeding project colors without working on improvement which means lots of chicks growing up everywhere I'm going to let someone else take over.
I have put up for sale the BLRW flock..I had already culled down to just some real good breeders and these are some real good birds 1 roo 3 hens then 1 pullet close to pol 1 young pullet and nice juvie roos for back up. Then I put up the Lavender Orpington Flock 1 roo 4 lav hens 1 black hen and a black pair all the older ones are close to pol.
My bantam flocks are not for sale..no worries there those fluffy little Mille Cochin's and my black mottled are not going anywhere

I was going to ask about you today! I saw the ads on craigslist so I knew it was getting serious on culling down. Those pullets I got from you are getting soooo big! They are already getting pink! I just counted the weeks and they are at LEAST 11 weeks and some I think are older. Must start introducing to there new flocks. The production reds are huge! The leghorns, not so much
On another note, I got 1 roo gone and maybe 2. She is going to be selling her silkie flock as a set and would like one more roo. She may also help me get rid of one or two more by pairing with a couple of pullets she has.
My lame chick is not really improving. Looks so small next to the others, but is eating, drinking and pooing. The other chicks have figured out the water nipples so I removed the waterer... no more picking out shaving!!! I just need to finish the other brooder cuz they will be too big soon to all be in one box.
Got to finish the pen for the Millie Fleur D'uccle today! So I can get my new birds!!!!! BTW How do you pronounce that name?
Kit my new Ferguson Splash is named after my buddy Doyle. She has an older sister here that looks just like her, but Kit has better toes and such a sweet baby girl.
I had to put one up of the blue girl I am planning on taking to Indy if I can get her cushion up some.
Anne Connie and I both shouldhave some very nice chicks next year. hehe
I really like both chicks I came home with yesterday and I could use the splash. Oh and this little one is so very sweet that makes her even better I just adore her.
Had fun hanging out with Connie today more chicken friends comin in an hour or so hubby is in KY so 9 kinds of Tisha time.
How's the job?
Any one on here have or know of someone who has a tom turkey (preferably bronze) for sale or trade? I need a tom, don't want to drive too far.... still looking!!
