These guys are still really little. I will let them grow until next spring and then start making cuts. A couple of them are showing nice color at this point. They have at least one more molt, so we shall see. They are just so stinkin' cute at this little fuzzball state.

Gold Griffin- the possums were dispatched with a 16 gauge shotgun. Two of them I found crawling around on top of the runs and in the coops. I finally got a trap. This last one was trapped and shot. I am so ready for the possum population to leave my chicken coops alone!

Anne I don't breed buff but they look nice over all the only thing I see is color but like you said they may get more with the next molt. I really do not know the SOP on Buffs. I have read where lot's are having trouble on getting them clear but it looks like you have that down. Why not show a few in Newport see what the judge says. It will be fun and you will get to hang out with one pretty cool group of Silkie friends. Newport is my very most favorite venue. I love Jack and Doyle! We always have a blast. I am really going for another Ch AOV. The silkies do well but they are not my heart. Showing is fun!

Holly you know I was kidding. I just like giving you a hard time.

I reset my trap maybe I will get the possum tonight. Keep setting those traps Anne. I learned a very hard lesson. I was told at Indy by a friend "if you want to cull your birds put a coyote in there he will pick your best every time". Now that I do believe.
