yes I would get it if you want it...we have one of those vicks ones like in the pic but we did not use it for the coop because it was too new...and we might need them in the future....as long as they are cool mist and not warm mist they will be fine.

Right now I believe he is out of SLW. If he sells anymore it will be later in the fall when he culls down to a few breeders or some for show. I think he still has some BLRW pairs still available.
Oh i think he has abunch of chocolates too.
Are you breeding them ot are they just for a backysrd flock?_
I'm sure! No I'm not breeding, in fact I don't want to raise anymore from chicks either, I'm just not set up for it.....it would be just for my little family of backyard babies.

Any tips on how to get my 3 good layers to start laying? I've gotten 4 eggs from the Silkie who is a month younger and who's Roo will be leaving us soon....but nothing from my Dominique, Rhode Island Red and Maran....

Someone on another thread rec'd giving them some apple cider vinegar in their water to jump start laying...I was skeptical (but it does help boost my horse's appetite when he goes off feed, so, I figured 'why not')...seemed to really help my EE. Granted they were pullets (and it might just have been their time to up egg production)...but I was only getting an egg every couple days from those three EE...now I'm getting 2-3 every day.

Try putting a golf ball in the nest box. If you hwve them freeranging, look to see if they hid a nest.
What do you feed them?
Layer feed.....and "treats" ....they come running or those....I've checked the yard, it's fenced in and we're on an acre lot but they are only in the back. I haven't found any eggs im their favorite places to hang out.....I'll try the golf balls, thanks.
