Carol has hooked me up on some too

I need more pens.... really!

I have 3 Legbar pullets, and they're all laying. I have 3 Rhodebar pullets - exact same age as the Legbars, but not a single one has laid yet. They're 27 weeks old, too. It's time!

Anyone here raise EX-LARGE Cochins? I know they're already large, but the bigger and fluffier the better... looking for Blue or Splash (really want Splash though) and looking for chicks or friendly roosters.. Show quality a plus!

Grape.... I think Carol can only eat so much jelly LOL
The grapes I gave you are muscadines which have a really distinct taste. I love them. I made twelve more half-pints of muscadine jam today - and still have three gallons of muscadines left in the refrigerator. My hubby has promised to help me prep those three gallons tomorrow - although after you mentioned making muscadine wine, I may try that.

Are you trying to tempt us more?????

I can't tempt you if the dadgum Rhodebars won't lay anything!

Quote: I will tell you what I did, might save you some time. I rinsed the grapes off and put them in a pot WHOLE, cooked for a little bit then smushed them a little ( a potato masher thing would work great). Cooked till they were really tender and used a food mill it is a hand crank one. It squeezes all the juice out, all that was left was the pulp and seeds. I strained the juice through it to get all the seeds out too. Worked well and was kinda easy. They have a food mill thing for a Kitchen Aid stand mixer.... my dad wants me to get one for him. It works great for tomato juices or jellies I would think. I also rinsed the pulp to get more flavor, I did that twice till the water was not a purple.

You might need more grapes to make wine worth it. The 13 gallons you started with would have made a good batch of wine.
