I wish the bucket lids and grit bowls wasnt in the back but it is a beautiful pic. She has grown so much. And Ill take any eggs I can get. Lol I wasnt goingto hatch but after storing a lot of my belongings I have extra brooder room.

How are you?

I try to be ok. I spent a large part of the day today trying to book an appt. with a psychiatrist. Taking over as GM at the metal shop hasn't been the best blessing ever, and I realized over the past weekend that I'm trying to keep myself inundated with work so I can stick my head in the sand and ignore everything else. I do essentially believe we will all be better down the road, but right now it's tough on us and the kids and we are all handling it different and in our own ways, and the family dynamics have turned for the worse. I really want to get us in some counseling and have someone help us get back on track, because I don't think any of us know what to do or how to handle all this and we just try to pretend it didn't happen and we don't have a messed up uninventoried house 10 minutes away from here.
It's tough.

We got an EGG!! The first in 4 weeks!! I followed my dd ( she is 11) on her chores one morning (I was spying) and realized that she wasn't filling up the whole water tank with water... just the small bowl at the base... my poor girls were thirsty.. So, I am off to order chicken nipples and get an auto watering system in place....eventually we want to have a rain barrel, but they are hard to find for cheap.
