Hope this helps I think these posters have & sell silkies.
Hi! I'm fairly new to BYC and just found this forum. We live in Montgomery County. I'm looking for silkies, does anyone sell them? Blessings, Jacque
Hey, ya'll! I hatched this guy out from Sundance silkie's eggs (I think). I only do buffs, so I can't use him. He's just lovely though. Do any of you need a black silkie cockerel before he goes off to camp Kenmore? I also have buff silkies available. They are finally old enough to tell gender!
He is GORGEOUS but we have so many black/blue/splash roosters. If he was any other color we would take him.

The Elkton sale won't be till next weekend. They usually have lots of silkies there. This weekend is the Huge sale at Scottsville ,Ky. Might be a little far for you but I assure you it would be worth the trip! I am sure there will be silkies there and proably better quality ones. This sale starts at9 ( and last till 5 -7 and thats with two auctioneers going! And thats only on the poultry! I think there are usually 7-9 auctioneers going at once. And its supposed to be nice and warm sat so it would be a great day for an excursion!

Thank you!!

Random question for my TN friends. If you have your limit of chickens (county law) and you rent a room/outlet of your house to someone, can they have their limit of chickens too?

I would think that would be for the LOT not tenants. In nashville the number of chickens is based on the size of the lot.

The Elkton sale is on April 13th. They do all the outside stuff first then move in doing big livestock then moving down the line to the poultry etc.. You can get up there round 10 or 11 and shouldn't have to wait too long hopefully.. last one was huge (before Easter) so it took forever.. Ill have to look up the address if you are interested further. Planning on prolly going to the Scottsville one this weekend.

Boooooo lol. My parents lost their place and have moved in with us. We're at max # of chickens allowed now, but I wanted a few others. It was worth a try ;)
