I have 2 pullets that I have had 2 people back of of buying, both just never showed or got back with me..... I sold all the others and these are the only 2 left in the pen. They are both Olive Eggers I think, one looks more Marans in type and the other looks more Ameraucana in type, I know the Am looking one is blue, can't remember on the other one maybe black. Not sure of egg color. They could be 2nd gen crossed with Marans, IDK. I had one pullet lay a perfect olive color another a darker olive and one a very dark but still green egg. I am going to put them on CL later so if anyone is interested let me ASAP. They make good layers.
That is one wild looking roo! He would be to use on a white polish or buff polish hen in a tolubunt experiment!
Anyone have any powder blue gunieas? I got the most beautiful male at the auction today nd finally figured out he is a powder blue. Proably will never find a mate for him, will proably have to use a lavender hen with him. My guniea program has begun!lol
You need a chick shipping box (about $5 for a box that holds up to 25 chicks - the smallest available), an excelsior pad for the bottom of the box ($1), a 48-72 hour warmer ($4), and I always hot glue a small plastic cup of Gro-gel on an inside corner of the box so they'll have some type of nourishment for the trip (cup plus Gro-gel - at least $1). You should ship express mail - which, in my limite experience, is typically between $32 - 36, depending on where the buyer lives. You have to charge $45 for shipping in order to come out even on it. I couldn't find all the shipping stuff locally - had to order it online. I'm sure there are other ways to ship - but I know the post office requires the chick shipping box. Good luck with it.Help I have sold some week old chicks how do I ship them and tell me about warmers BKPuckett
