HELP FOR THE NOVICE!
So, I've got almost 1 full year under my belt, but this is my first molt experience...
Violet (BLRW) has been molting for about 1 1/2 months...gradually & slowly. Her comb and wattle have remained pale, but lately it looks almost WHITE. Is this normal, okay, or should I be concerned?

Here's Violet in the middle...

Saw this on a blog this morning and thought I'd post it. I know in the past people have wondered what kind of predator they were up against and maybe this would help identify them.
This was very interesting and helpful now i know what possibly got 2 of my hens and injured another A Weasel which we have in TN i didnt know that but after googling it we do strange i seen one in gallatin one night and chased it all over the place i thought it was someones pet ferret that let go which its possible it was but could have been a weasel to who knows lol

' = feet.  Think of it as a single foot print.

" = inches.  Think of it as toe markings.

If it was shown in metric, let's run to the hills. haha

Metrics isn't really that hard. I work in metrics every day. 1'' is 25.4 millimeters 12'' is 304.8 millimeters round up to 305, so 50' would be 15250 millimeters or 1525 meters. 10 millimeters to a meter

I'm english - we do half metric and half imperial so going back and forth is second nature to me...

10mm to 1cm but 100cm in 1m... So There would be 1000mm in 1 meter!
