What are the best places around the middle tennessee for buying chickens? Do prefer to buy locally our through a hatchery online? I'm feeling very overwhelmed by all if these choices!

The best place I've found so far is from DMRIPPY. She's local to mid Tenn. fair prices & a super nice person. Maybe I'm biased but that's my opinion.

I am overrun right now with Olive Eggers I am going to put an ad on CL for chicks CHEAP. I just can't brood ALL these babies

I have some chicks I just took out of the hatcher today. Sexlinked Black Copper Marans Pullets (4) and Sexlinked EE pullets too (3) and maybe more SL Coppers in the other brooders a little older. I really need to thin down the chicks

My guinea are laying pretty well and laying the eggs in the run so I can find most of them. I have some guinea eggs coming in the mail this week too. Becky I can get you some keets when they all hatch (thinking there will be about 90 eggs going in the bator)

Well it looks like I'll be getting some new chickens this weekend . Thanks to Raven1 & DMRippy. I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and get a silkie if anyone here has 1. I think I'd like to get a buff or black pullet or hen. Feel free to pm me if you have 1 you'd be willing to part with. Thanks everyone.

I got a few from the Amish, but my friend and I have gotten some from Donna (DMRippy) and they are great. She has some beautiful birds!

I bought two of their chicks (pullets) on Saturday when I was at Bonnie's Barnyard. One breed was $4.75 a chick - and the other one was $3.75 a chick. Do they also sell laying hens? I didn't think to ask about that.

I bought 2 of their laying hens last year and paid $30 for the 2 I think......SLW and a Buff O
