Let me introduce myself. My name is Vannah and I have 9 chickens. 1 EE Roo his name is Pablo there's a few pics of him on my page, 3 Red sex link hens, 2 Cornish X cross hens, and 3 hens I think are New Hampshire Reds but I'm not really sure on those. (try and post pics of them later). I've been around chickens all my life but last year was my first crack at raising them and having my own flock. I'm working on incubating a few of my eggs as soon as I collect 4 more to total up to ten that'll be headed to the bator. Thanks for welcoming me into the group!

Hi Vannah,
Last year was my first year with chickens as well but haven't tried hatching my own just yet. I think I will give it a try next year after my babies are older. Good luck with it!!

I have done like a billion hours of research over incubating 101 so I think I'm pretty ready for it

Well it's still raining and storming here pretty good... Got rough couple hours ago had to evac due to tornado warning supposedly pretty close to the house. Needless to say a hailstorm and rain make it hard to drive 600 ft down the road to my grandparents place. Back home now and prolly turning in before long. Hope everyone rode it out fine...

The sirens were just going off here in Savannah. I wish it would just pass. Don't want to wake kids and baby up at midnight and drag them to the basement.
