I have just 3. the first one was a test and the poor CCL roo couldn't get his head in the 3 inch pipe. so I made a 4 inch pipe and hubby said even HE could get his head in that thing. lol. the one for the chicks uses 2 inch pipe and under 3. so far I have not seen any waste. I also have not seen if the birchen Marans roo has gotten his MONSTER COMB AND WATTLES in the hole. I will try to watch himbtoday and see. the goal is LESS daily care. I am spending 2 hours a day feeding and watering. NOW I can just collect eggs in the back breeding pens. I expect the feeders to last a week or more.
going to use them in the shop too to help cut time too. I was also having problems with my other feeders falling right. I think Obama going to make some for the bitty babies out of something. I will post pics when I figure it out.
