I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know if I'lbe back again... Actually I am heading to N.C. in the morning & I do know that I'll be back. My youngest son is deploying again. Just to keep it chicken related, my oldest son is taking care of the chickens while I'm gone. Somebody call to remind him to collect eggs just kidding. He's pretty good at it. My youngest is going on his 3rd deployment. Don't let anyone tell you the war is over, far from it. Not happy about it but its what he signed up for. Please keep him in your prayers. Thanks

Please thank your son for his service for us. There seem to be a lot of things these days that are quite different than they are presented. Fortunately for us the bravery and committment of our military are not among them.

Oh my! You and your family are in my prayers. I could not imagine having a child in the service to worry about. Thank him for me! It can not be an easy thing for him or you. My son (13) wants to be a Marine, he's always wanted it and it scares me cause I know he is serious. Much love and prayers!!

Great I need to get them ordered then huh? I will check it out later when I get back in...I live in Eagleville. Yes I will see you there next month cant wait! I have boxes coming down from NY whatever my grandfather has left over, he is not so much into it anymore. I have an Aunt going through for me. My parents will be down for Thanksgiving so hopefully I will be set or at least know what i have to work with.


I think pretty much you can't get bees till spring or that's when everyone sells them...there is a guy in shelbyville too. There is a guy at work who has bees and i believe he told me to get them from Kellys too. I will have to wait till next week to order but I will get them

There is a fellow that sells honey and bees on Dickerson Road in Nashville. The Davidson CoOp sells his honey and I think the honey label even has his contact info if I remember right.

I have a bantam roo if anyone is interested he hatched this July and I believe he is a old English mix. I have a roo he is like 3 years old but is more of a pet so little guy has to go before they start scraping..
