Stopped at TSC yesterday to see if they had chicks..... all set up but no chicks. I was talking to the guy and he said they should have been here Mon Morning. I thought surely no one shipped chicks on a holiday weekend. He said they should be here Tuesday and I told him I hoped it would be Wednesday because if they get here tuesday most are going to be dead. POOR CHICKIES!

Thanks. I can't take credit for breeding them, just nursing them back from their injuries all last winter. They did an amazing job healing , esp. the Roo so I'm hoping for vigorous chicks in another 2.5 weeks I've got a short waiting list on chicks, I should have additional hatching eggs or chicks available by late April...

The stores' deadline to set was Monday, but they often interpret that as their first bird shipment. And it usually is when they go into the mail but not when they deliver. They should get first shipments this week. Depending on the distance to the hatchery, they should get their first birds Wed or Thurs because of Presiden'ts Day being Monday.

Oh my...................... I found a feed store in Cookeville that has ducks, turkeys, guineas and chickens all coming in over the next two weeks. OH my................. Someone stop me!!! They've got EVERTHING I have been wanting. And I'll be in Cookeville when they get their order in.

Personally, I think this is God nudging me, telling me to go for it! Right?!
