The Middle Tennessee Thread

Hey everyone! :) I have not checked in here for ages! That is what happens when you get married and add 100 new chickens to your existing pens when you didn't have enough space to start with...

We are (hopefully) moving to FL in May but until then can I pretty please be added to the TN Breeders List? SW TN! :)

We have:
English Orps: Black, Blue/Black/Splash, Buff, Chocolate, Chocolate Cuckoo, Cuckoo, Gold Laced, Jubilee, Lavender, Lavender Cuckoo, Mottled, Partridge, Red, Red Cuckoo, Silver Laced, White (haha I so copied and pasted off my website)
Cream Legbars
Wyandottes: White, BLR
Ameraucanas: Lavender/Black, BBS
Polish: Tolbunt/Gold Laced
Silkies: Buff, BBS, Porcelain (for now...), Paint, White

Oh and we will have a trio of Porcelain Silkies available... maybe a third hen also. They produce nice babies but we are cutting back on breeds for the move. PM for more info!
When did you get married?!? Congrats!

We have got to get cracking on new pens over here. I've got to put those silkies I got from you somewhere, I have some TSC and Co-Op chicks in the brooder, I have some more birds coming from you if nothing has changed, I have an order of 15 cochin bantams, 5 ee's, and 15 Spitzhaubens coming in April from Cackle, and I have a Cackle surprise coming in June. Oh and turkeys sometime. Hubby hurt his leg while coaching soccer and I am trying not to pressure him too much to get building!

NO.... He shouldn't feel ANY PRESSURE with all those chicks coming LOL.
ha ha, no wonder he wants to move and sell off all the chickens, right?

The best thing is I don't build the pens (someone has to watch the little kids while the men work), I generally don't feed, water, clean them (oldest son does), I just buy them!

Does any body have Aracanas or Americanas or cream legbars I want chicks that are cheap or eggs in 3 weeks

There is someone on CL with CCL in your neck of the woods but I don't think I have seen pics of the birds...... just make sure you get good birds. I have Wheaten and Blue Wheaten Ams - chicks or eggs in 3 weeks would be ok right now.
