Hi all. Wanted to ask those of you in my local climate how many large fowl hens you'd keep in this coop. They free range all day, just use the interior section for sleeping and laying. I feed in the open air penned part under roof and they are confined to run behind coop only when we are out of town.

The interior sleeping part is 4x8. Covered pen 8x10.

There is a forum for B/S/T for the whole BYC community. We usually just do our own B/S/T in this thread. If you need something ask or check the page for who breeds what. If you have something to trade/sell pipe up and let us know.

Is anyone driving to Bonnie's Barnyard for chicks from the Poultry House in the next couple of weeks? I want to get some Cochins and Welsummers? I could help with gas money. I am in Sumner County.
