What breeds are you interested in?

I think you will hear mixed reviews. Personally with mixed reviews I would avoid them.

I have visited them. Really nice people and they seem to have a wide variety, but I wasn't really thrilled about their operation. So the wife and I decided not to buy our chicks there.

I'm still in my (slow albeit) research and discover process. Had the opportunity to visit a middle TN 'farm' last week and am adding to my knowledge. At this point I'm thinking I want 10-20 birds with most egg producing and a handful for aesthetics. Several people in middle TN have been responsive, patient and most helpful. Thank you!

What breeds are you interested in? I have some friends in Beachgrove that have a poultry farm. They're really nice and helpful. They have several breeds, such as Barred rocks, Welsummers, and Buff Orpingtons to name a few. Oh, and they also build custom coops and tractors. Check out thier website : funkyfeatherstn.com
