Thanks! This year's batch are turning out cool looking. I think it's the addition of the maran hens. A bunch of these are turning up with cute little feathered feet.

It would have been hard not to hold on to those to see what they turn out to look like. Are you using blue marans? They were really unusual and pretty!

I'm hoping for pictures from Chrystal.
There is one blue marans and two crele marans in that pen. Along with barred rocks, a buff orp, a couple of welsummers and some blue EEs. The feathered legs are coming from the marans. They are pretty cute.

Crele? Golden Cuckoo? Hum... I have a cuckoo with gold leaking I was going to sell and a blue that is in the wrong pen... Olive Eggers I need to set those up again. Just when I thought I had a couple of more to sell LOL.

Would these 3 be considered Americanas or EE? They all have beards/muffs.

These crele OEs are pretty darn cute. There is also a blue M x blue AM cross goimg on. Is it possible to get a splash OE? Logically if both come from BBS pens, splash should be an option.

Blue × blue should give you 25% chance of splash...
