BTW at the Hendersonville TSC their staff is way more helpful and knowlegeable about the birds. One of the girls who works there really knows her chicks. She can tell you all the different breeds of the bantams in the tub.

Hi all, I'll be in the Nashville area on Memorial day weekend and saw some craiglist postings for muscovies (been having so much trouble finding them).

The poster calls himself "Duckman" and is located in Murfreesboro. Has anyone purchased from him in the past?

Personally, I have not, but a friend did once... said he only did because members of their families knew each other... he would never do it again... he went to his place and said all the birds were crammed in too small of space, looked awful, and he lost the ones he got not long afterwards... plus many of his previous flock... jmo, but there's many people on this thread in the area that might be able to help instead... ETA: sorry, just realized you wanted 'scovies... don't know if anyone on here has those, lol...

I bought guineas from him before and he dropped the box of them before he got them to me and I should have asked for different ones but I was dumb and took them and half of them had gimpy legs. I'm not sure if it was from the fall or they were already like that. I also got 2 cuckoo marans from him and they were very healthy birds, though.
