Oh, and if you're out and about with the camera, why don't you take some shots of your Cornish for me. I don't know what it is about them, I just love your Cornish! Guess I have a strange attachment to prehistoric-looking critters. (and if you knew the men I have been fond of over the years, this would certainly apply, LOL!)

I'm rather fond of those men as well..my chickens though they are interesting at least. The chicks look more like a chicken but they are half RIR

I'll get some of those dinosaurs soon..have Girl Scouts tonight so got to feed early..I'll have cookies soon and I know everyone loves GS cookies
Met up with Okla this morning..He now has 3 beautiful Black/Blue Ameraucana and a trio(hopefully) of Jen's bantam Ameraucana as well as 3 that feathered in with a bit of color
Then did anyone see the $30 incubator with turner on CL? I did and it wasn't far from my house
hide.gif
it's an LG without a fan but I know how to install them-you hand the top of the bator and the fan to the hubby
gig.gif
really needed the turner but having a 6th bator may be handy!!
Here is a baby Lavender Orpington..more pics tomorrow hopefully. I hatched a few EE and a FBCM a rock or two and a tiny little Cochin

Thanks for the fuzzy fix.

Hope everyone is finally nice and melted after yesterday. It's so nice and mild here this morning - - feels like spring. Even some of the little song birds are out this morning chirping away. I keep trying to warn them about nasty February, but they never listen.

One of my nice retired neighbors stopped by yesterday to chat, and he does a huge garden every year on some farmland not too far away. Every time I talk to him I get all jacked up about spring planting. I'm ready!!!!! Let's plant!!!!

*sigh*

Oh well. He also kindly brought a nice bag of home made pork sausage, so I guess I'll have that with some home-grown eggs while I wait for spring.

I found a nice summery picture to post for your coffee enjoyment this morning. This was July 2009, and my mixed assembly of bantam chicks was enjoying the cool shade of my herb garden - -
