=SimplySplendidSilkies]Thank you so much! I may try and take some chickens to get them off my feed bill.

Great! If you are wanting to sell its like any other auction ,the earlyier you get there the sooner you can get your check. Also ,usually they will cash out their checks for you!
What are you bringing!

Silkies of different ages. I realy won't know till I get them loaded I just decided to go late last night. I will be with Cathy or Silkie Time on here. Since it is an auction do we have to leave the cages? I know some you have to leave the cages. Hope to ren into you guys there.

Hey how was the auction? I spent the morning buying the electrical for the brooder motel..9 outlets are going inside so I will have plenty of places to plug things in-never enough
Elizabethtown is where I pick up my chickens from Foley's I'm buying a bunch of chicks from him and another big roo to help out my guy now. There is a Outdoor store in Bowling Green I'm going to stop at this time so will make a fun day of it.
Sold a few layers tonight..really need to get those numbers under control. But....a calico bantam Cochin hatched today so my Millie Fleur have begun laying again

..the black mottled are in there as well so until they hatch I'm not sure
Life for the next 3 weeks belongs to my Girl Scouts..but told my husband I may drive to Savannah when we go on our GS trip...some on this thread get to go to Venice others just get to go to Savannah

Holly, can you hook me up with one box of Thin Mints and two of Samoas? Are you going to make it to the March 12th meet up or shall we meet some other time for me to get you money? Or do you need me to mail a check?

Has anyone heard from our wanderers? Do we need to go bail them out? How many chickens can they cram in that car anyway?

Yeah ours is educational too...sounds one step short of boring..unless I can find chickens to bring back then it will be ok

You can cram lots of chickens in one car...but with Jen it just may not be a chicken she brings home
I'll be at the March 12th meet up with GS cookies for those that "need" them.I'll hold onto yours.Don't worry we won't eat them

Everyone can pay for them at the meetup
So far 12 big chicks have hatched and 8-10 tiny...more Mille Fleur keep popping out of the shell

We had a great time today! Or at least I did I hope she did too. There was a big crowd and everything went high! And believe it or not we came home with only one roo!
Hey Joe the roo is a silver phoenix! He is pro ably a two or three year old. His spurs are a good inch and a quarter long. Has the longest saddle hackles I have seen! I'll post pics tomorrow.
I bid on several guinea pigs but they went to high.I think Jan liked the goats and pigs as much as the poultry.
Yeah!,,, The snow really melted good today!
