Troyerose and silverose---- I live in Marshall Co about 30 miles from the AL line. Welcome to SOUTH middle TN!!!

Chicks are available at most feed stores if you aren't concerned with breed standards and showing. If you are just getting started, I would consider older chickens so you can skip the whole brooding process until you are further along in the hobby. Some of the others here have fabulous websites so you can see their birds and of course nothing is as much fun as a home visit!!!


edited to add that I got my first Sebastopol egg for the season--- thank goodness, I was beginning to think my geese were "broken"

Gina- that is Lucy, my mostly boxer mutt.

Her mama was a boxer. Daddy was who-knows-what. She acts very, very boxer and is a huge goof. Lucy is 4 years old now.

This is Lily. She is half boxer also. Mama looked like Benji. Daddy was a brindle boxer. She's 6 and is a nut also.

They are GREAT dogs and are my babies! I love that boxer mix.

afternoon taking a break from cleaning the house UGH...a never ending job it seems LOL...anyways moved the silkies under the house to make room for all the EE's in a couple of weeks... this is my first hatching saw veins on day 7 even saw some moving inside that was sooo cool! I am gonna get addicted

. So this weekend Hubby says if you get rid of those noisy guinneas you can have as many chickens as you want (he says he cant relax outside because they are so noisy)....this has been an ongoing thing....so i finally said OK... I only had 6, three were female and 3 were male and they were starting to go after the chickens more.....so i sold them.......(they were starting to bug me too but cant show that LOL).....so now i am making plans

If he only knew what he got himself into LOL...............hope everyone has a nice day gotta start running around soon!!!
