Morning all! Looks like a rainy, stormy day ahead.
It was nice yesterday. I went to the Elkton sale yesterday. It was a good one. Lots of stuff I wanted but not enough money!
I did get a new flock of EE bantams. They are about a third smaller than the ones I have now. There is a good color range too! Mine were already small but these will really bring the size down.
I got back and was moving things around and decided to give a doe rabbit a box because I thought she may have been bred when I bought her and wasn't for sure. Three hours later she had a litter of seven! That was close!
Holly are the nn's bantam or large fowl? I love the turken breed. Very hardy despite the bare skin.
Jenski next sat is the really big Amish sale just past Elkton. You and hubby should take a road trip. It is someting to see. I'm sure even hubby will find an auction area he likes! There will be a big top tent filled with fowl plus that many more on the outside of the tent!Just about anything you can imagine.
There will also be auctions going on for building supplys, farm equip.,household goods, antiques, livestock, nursery stock, tack, buggys!,and lots of homemade Amish foods to buy and to eat!Its like going to an auction fair only no rides, well I guess you could ride the machinery or livestock!lol
