Gorgous birds.

I don't really know anything about this breed other than the brother of my cock bird placed well. They are very sweet and love to be carried around the yard. I am just trying to buy a bag of food here and there from selling their eggs. They lay white bantam eggs and for the most part they are fertile. I check when I crack them before cooking.

I'll place the order, let you know when they get in - and then we can meet up so you can get yours. Anybody else want some - basically 100 Cartons for $10? I really only want 100 - but I can always store the extras in the barn until I need them.

Great! I placed the order for the 600 egg cartons - to be shipped the week of August 8th. I'll give you a call when they get here. I really like the plastic cartons - they can be cleaned easily and be reused - plus you can see the pretty eggs through the carton. Thanks!

Or you could come get one of the 8 broodies I currently have. Stinking silkies.
Oh and someone on here ask me about silkie eggs PM me if you are still interested I have broken some of the broodies in that pen.

Simply- the roo is simply stunning. I let him out to play in the front yard while I sat in the swing. He was just a talking and picking at the grass. He looks like a fuzzy basketball. I stopped at TSC when leaving the 'boro btw and took him in with me. He was such a hit. I gave out the BYC info, our thread info and your screen name. Hopefully you will hear from some of them. There was a family full of 4Hers that were enchanted with him. We named him Eggbert

1newegg- Love the new boys. Took pictures and sent to a few friends. Some of the roos will have homes versus freezer camp. The really colorfull EE and the black Am. We named the silkie Benedict and the AM Over Easy- EZ for short.

Everyone settled in nicely and frozen watermelon was served as an evening snack.

I really love meeting up with chicken people I know and putting faces to names of the new friends. We definitely need to get a new meeting place picked and planned. Some place inside of course, just the people not the poultry venue due to heat. Suggestions?

Hey, Emmalynn! Six more of these suckers have turned into boys. Do you think any of your contacts would like some for dinner? I would love to meet some of them and do a sell if you think they are interested. Half are black ameraucanas and the other half are those barred easter eggers like you got. They are all at eating size.
