Yes if they interbreed they will still be Leghorns but not pure color.

I have some black and blue copper and one golden cuckoo Marans eggs going into lockdown tomorrow

I have my first broody silkie so got some fertile eggs from Tish for her so this will be my first hen hatch
I had to move her because I felt bad the Roos were still doing there thing while she is setting on eggs
she was complaining at first I was scared I broke her broodiness but she went back and moved the eggs around and sat on them
. So now the waiting game

He is one of the best people I know not to mention very knowledgable, easy to approach and always ready to give tips. I love love LOVE JACK! I consider him a very dear friend, but if you are undecided about who to vote for please consider Jack. Not to mention I will always be able to say I beat the ASBC Pres. with my babies. haha Jack!

Seriously though my life is more enriched simply because these 2 men are in it.

Well, three hatched, one drowned.. thought thw bowl was high enough, have another one zipping now. One chick looks to have something wrong with its legs, maybe straddle legged. Boy are they cute. Had two hatch at school and 6 pipped and zipping.

If you have one with spraddle leg, where the leg sits off to the side, you can correct it with bandaids. Wrap the bandaid around the good leg up high, then bring the bad over till it is straight and wrap the bandaid around it so that once done it's like a brace that will not allow the bad leg to go out sideways. You can search it on the forum here, I've read several threads about it.

Vet tape works great with leg issues. Just cut to size.
