I'm not a silkie enabler I am a chicken enabler

those are not chickens..have you seen those websites where there is a link for "chickens" then another link for the people's "silkies" so it just confirms that they are not chickens

Ok back to the pics..the first one was from my splash hen and splash roo so she's washed out in the splash color but I was working on leg color and not worried about the splash color as the genetics are the same.
Second is a blue hen splash roo so her color is much prettier
Third is a blue hen but with those dark feathers she would be called a poor blue if you were to show her but since it's not an accepted color yet...btw she's very pretty if I must say so myself

Now..if you ever decide not to keep them they are welcome back here I have a little bit of space now

4 more left last night.I'm just about out of extra birds.

I am not showing so now biggie... I like them too, should have taken that mean little splash roo that you had for free too, but I was afraid of him. If you hear of some blue, black or splash roos let me know. I would like to have many more. They lay better than those mean BR hens I had... Bigger eggs and more frequent too! The pretty Splash is my fav for looks. She is so cute from behind... she just needs some TP (toilet paper

)

Thanks... you done good!

That little roo grew up and mended his horrible ways..turned out to be very nice.He's over in the Carthage area..or was.Same guy bought the big barred blue roo and took him as well.Then I sold rest of the blue flock to a person here in Lebanon but not sure if they are going to do any breeding or not.
I only kept Speedy she's not so speedy any longer but she's special
