Now that would be fun! A commune with you ladies (and gentlemen) would be a HOOT!

alaina from the looks of your list you must stay busy taking care of critters!lol. Wow 11 apps! I love the one in your avatar, that has to be the prettiest horse color pattern, well unless its the paint!I love them both. Just never had any experience around horses. The wife has and she always liked them.

Boy it is frosty this morning! I am so ready for spring and it is so far away!

I would LOVE some milking lessons. I need hoof trimming lessons too. I can't really play until January. Pretty much all of my weekends are booked through the end of January. After that though I would love to come play. You know I want some goaties! And an alpaca.

I can do the 19th, the 21st and the 22nd. Nope on the 20th though. There are meetings on and off all day. Do any of the other dates work for you?

I can do the 21st or 22nd and you can come in January whenever you are ready. We can do hooves, worming, and milking. It will be fun. Not much to choose from in our area in the way of lunch venues but we can do lunch that day as well.

Jenski- I don't know about the commune but I will give cheese lessons if anyone wants to learn.

I have a niece who makes her own cheese all the time. Lots of different varieties, too. They live in New Hampshire, though - so I can't learn from her. However, I'd love to learn to make cheese.

ya, I stay pretty busy, to say the least, but not yet ready for spring, gotta get through Christmas first, then will start looking thru the garden catalogs and start some plants...I kinda like the slower (somewhat) pace of winter too, tho I don't care to have to break too much ice.

Today is moving day! We are going to start moving all the breeders to the back pens

We already put the Lav AM, Black AM and Wheatens out back and they seem to be very happy. Can't wait to get most of the birds in the back and clean the pens some and move some of the birds inside out

Have to make some feeders and waterers today too, shouldn't take time

Hubby was very excited to find out I have more baby pullets than roos. Quite a few more... something like 24+ pullets to 14 little roos. Anybody want some roos?

Told him we will just grow them another month or 2 and then process them. BUT they have to stay in the shop, just don't have that many little pens... maybe he will let build a bachelor pen soon, he is sick of birds in the shop but what is a girl to do?

My neighbor has nubians, cheese might be a good thing to know how to do... is that going to be our meet up?

AND it is going to warm up in a couple of days
