looking for a blue bearded show quality silkie, but I'm not wanting anything over a few months old. I just want one from good lineage that I know will grow into a beautiful bird. I have a seller in orlando florida, and my friend lives there and might be back here march 2nd for spring break, and if he does then Im in the clear (he'll bring it back to tn for me, but if not then I want to have something lined up! just let me know if you have one ur willing to part with!

ChickenLeg- I think SimplySplendidSilkies as blues. I know she was moving. I don't know if she has already done so though. You might try PMing her to see what she has available. I'm not sure who else around here is doing blues.

Was at the Rutherford County Co-op (the one on Middle TN Blvd) today chatting with the farm desk guys and the manager mentioned that they are doing Swap Meet days in March, April and May. There is no charge to sell animals. They just ask that you not bring full size cows or horses. Chickens, rabbits, bottle calves, goats, and alpacas are fair game though. Those of you that are hatching, this might be a great way to move some chickens on. I think they just let you set up in the front parking lot. The guy said it is very well attended and that even roosters sell well.

He didn't have dates set yet, but said they would be posting it on Craigslist and putting it up on the marquee out front. I'm in there all the time. I'm sure I'll be in there before they do the first and can find out the date.

She moved to GA. But my guess is she still comes HOME every once in awhile.

Please let me know when they have dates. I just set 115 eggs in the new bator

three more days I will set another 5 1/2 doz.

Raven I haven't heard a word yet. I guess they are going to ship on the date I ask for or they would have notified me. Can't wait to see what the red polish and mille fleure leghorn chicks look like!

Kandi glad the mottleds are selling good. Wish my other fancy bantams layed as good those mottleds did! Yes I'm ready for spring,have four colors of cochins,pair of D'anvers,trio of true arucanas,ee bantams,and pir of silevr hamburg bantam plus my icelandics. So I am ready to get some broodys so I can start hatching!lol.
