The Middle Tennessee Thread

Pictures will have to wait. For the time being I am living the Army camping life and I can't post pics from my phone. The EE that hatched was named Lacey by my 4 year old and she is still all wet. We have a Lav that pipped another EE and it looks like one of the Blue barred rocks. Kinda hard to tell from the pics. We are excited though. I will do at least one more run with the incubator since Shannon must have a silkie.

Have you found any? Tisha moved and she shows silkie I can pm her and see if I could pick up some eggs next weekend if you want.

A Lavender just hatched! It's black and slimy.

It is a lavender split.... not a lavender.

Donna, are they frizzles? That is what we want. Next weekend might be too soon. I will be home in 2 weeks.

That would be the only time soon I could meet up with her. If they are fresh they would be ok for a week. I could pick them up on the 6th an hold them till you get home.

Thanks Donna it we will hold off for now. I am not sure what will be going on when I get home but I am sure it will keep me busy for a bit

This morning there are 5 chicks and 2 unzipping. From the picture it looks like a couple Blue barred rock, a Lav split, a Blue Maran and an EE.

We are just back from the Volunteer State Show in Dickson.......

As you can see we had an amazing day!!! Champion Featherleg with our Black Silkie Cockerel, Reserve Champion Featherleg with our Splash Silkie Cockerel and Reserve Champion AOSB with our Black Ameraucana Cockerel!!!!

Chicken shows are VERY addictive and we're loving them!!!!
