I'm starting my own aviary of ornamental waterfowl and I was wondering how small should the wholes be in the netting I'm putting over it so the small birds like wood ducks can't get through

They should be considerably small becuase you dont want mic or snaks getting through try metal fencing then covering that woith small holed chicken wire.

this is my new pair of ruddy shelducks! they are in a 20x15 pen thats about 6 feet tall i have a buried barrel for them that is not in this pic and i also dug a hole for the pool burying the pool was one of the smartest things i could have done at the bottom of the pool is a hole with a water hose going about 6 feet out underground leading into a trench that gos directly into my pond. sadly the female was shot by duck hunters about two days after i bought her

Just wanted to put the word out, i am looking for some nice full color male specimens for taxidermy purposes. Certianly dont want live ones for this. But, if any of you happen to have the misfortune of loosing any, let me know. I am especially looking for a good Ruddy Duck drake. Will be happy to pay a fair price and shipping of course
