well, well, well the bad duck seller wildfowl1 left me back feedback since I left her bad feed back on the quality of her ducks. She said" I even sent her a extra hen and I complained about shipping before paying!!!" She didn't send me extra anything. I bought and pd for 2 Mandy Hens and a pr of tiny Cinnamon Teal. She said she combine shipping to save money if you buy more. Sorry but I don't consider $105 combined shipping for 2 pr of ducks. She took 10.00 after I complained so I pd 95 for shipping.
The wonderful Mallard Lane Farms only charged me $75 shipping for a big fat Chiloe Widgeon and a pr of Chestnut Breasted Teal in 2 new boxes

I'm blown away again. I got 2 new boxes, 2 pairs of nice birds, shipping was $75. Actual shipping on the box was $55. So I figured that the extra $20 was for the boxes.

I'm so sorry that not only did you get crappy birds but then got bad feedback as well.

I've been drooling over Mallard Lane Farms. They're about 6 hours from me.

she only charged you 75 for shipping 2 pr??? What is her problem. I wonder why she wanted to charge me 105 for 2 pr and I used buy it now to get them. What a witch!!! The Teal don't weight anything they are so tiny and the Mandys don't weight that much either. I could care less about the feedback as i won't be selling anything there or if I do they can see what the feedback is about. I may contact the auction and see if I can make her remove it just for spite lol. What a whacko woman

Wow you are that close to Jamie. I think I would have to make a day trip lol

new boxes depending on size are $10- $25 , if they sent them in recycled boxes, not so much.
Often on auction sites, people add extra to everything to cover back the expense of their auction, ie listing fees, auction selling fees, paypal fees, etc.
They arent supposed to, but they do. eBay for example charges 12% on most auctions I run for eggs, then Paypal gets theirs, so by auction formate, it can get into the sellers pocket quick.
However, yes $105 for those was a touch high, especially if the quality was low on the birds.
$75 usually covers the box and shipping reguardless of how many birds are in it, or how far it has to go, unless it's huge birds like peafowl or something.

I bought my Hottentot Teals from Mallard Lane Farms and highly recommend using them.

Of course, I just drove up there to pick them up. I couldn't wait until the Fall season to pick mine up and i was afraid the postal service would kill them.

It was about a 14 hour drive for me.
