I like purina for my chickens, is purina rabbit feed any good?

Ok good, I was gonna feed oxbow. thats what I fed my rats

It seems to be a good brand. Niven loves her pellets

Just looked it up and personally I think Oxbow looks better. Purina lists Alfalfa as the primary ingredient. My Oxbow is mainly timothy based with some alfalfa. Oxbow also offers feed specifically for young rabbits and Purina does not.

Just out of curiosity what do you think of Mazuri feed and also Sweet Meadow rabbit food ? Our local feed store carries the sweet meadow stuff and I thought it looked pretty good.

what brand do you feed?

Producer Pride is what I give mine. It's one of the cheap ones but are great. Mine loves it. Just make sure you don't alter their food like get one brand and then next get another cause their stomachs are sensitive and can get bloated and die.

Also make sure they always have access to timothy hay to help the digest

Haven't tried it for rabbits. I use it for my ducks though

Mazuri is just on the expensive side

Mazuri is expensive. That’s why I only use it for my ducks just cause it has all the nutrients and it’s less of a hassle to buy supplements
