Thanks! I usually sit on the floor next to her. She doesn't like being held AT ALL. I will definitely try small amounts of brushing mixed with petting next time.

Anyone got an brush recs? I have one of those horribly expensive rabbit combs but it sometimes tugs a bit and then she gets upset.

Do you have a hair buster? Most people swear by those.

With cats do the little plastic bits ever catch on their fur or tug when they hit a loose tuft? Or am I doing this wrong?

it has a little bit of a tug but my cats LOVE being brushed and its the one that gets the most fur out the fastest (compared to my slicker brush)
