Hey everyone! I am an electrician and live in northern california. I have a flock of 20 ducks who enjoy waddling around the property.

Haha. I've been considering getting ducks for quite some time. I just can't make up my mind, I guess because I can't be bothered to make a pond. I'd be interested to see what everyone uses as a watered area for them.

@KingB what I use is a kitty pool for them to swim in with a ladder almost kind of thing so they can get in and out of it. Then I have a water tin with minnows in it for them to eat and dunk their heads in there too if they wanted

Oh that sounds nice and simple. Hmm maybe I will get some...
Im thinking I'll have to also make them another enclosure as my population of hens is sometimes rather extraordinary.

Probably would be a good idea since they are kind of messy and I don't think your hens will like that

Yeh. 5 ducks with 70 hens would cause some serious problems I'm guessing

I have lacrosse practice with my league here pretty shortly. Looks really cloudy out and almost like it might rain :/
