The Missing Heir RP

Kira looked back to Isabella curiously "Yea, we ride together for the time being" She answered and tilted her head. "No need to fear me Isabella. I have no wish to harm you." She said to try to reassure the woman

Isabella took a deep breath pushing her plate away, she wasn't hungry anymore. She shook her head. "D-dont worry. I believe you," She said but there was fear evident in her voice and her eyes kept flickering around the room nervously as if awaiting for Death himself to come and take her away.

Kira smiled kindly then shook her head "Alright, I suppose I will see you on the trail later on then" She figured the woman was too scared to speak now and stood, pulling her cloak around her shoulders then picking up the basket and turning to go

Isabella felt bad but she honestly was terrified. Maybe she should just drop out before it's to late but then again she needed the reward and what was the chances Malcolm Desdemona would notice her of all people. She paused before saying. "Im sorry, I'm just a little frightened but not to much to make you need to leave," She said calming down slightly.

Kira looked back to Isabella assessing her and her words. Then she smiled brightly "Tis not you, It is nearly time to meet with my companions again and I need to get my horse ready for travel. I will bid you good day, Isabella and hope to meet you again" She was still smiling as she turned to go again.

(Goodnight)

The barmaid left, bringing back a bowl of the stew and setting it down for Thea. She then spoke, "So ye art going to help find the princess, well I'd be careful, Malcom Desdemona wilt also be searching and from the many tales I've heard, he dost not take anyone getting in his way. He's coming back here soon, he stayed the night with his two companions, there's one of them..." She gestured to Kira.

Thea almost choked on her water when she heard Malcolm Desdemona's name and barely managed to swollow it down. "Desdemona, you say?" She asked, not believing the barmaid. Thea took a few bites of her stew while she waited for the diplomat.

The shire halted once at the edge of the clearing. Not even he would approach the hut. Trembling, Karok dismounted his horse and awaited Aeron. His companion spoke a name, Agatha, and this confused the Zurian. As he opened his mouth to ask, an old woman's voice shouted from near the hut.

"What! I have told ye, I'm not interested!" A bony Zurian woman shuffled from behind a small fence. Her rill was raised and she waved her cane as if to beat anyone nearby. Karok turned pale and did his best not to hide behind Aeron.

Making it all but a few feet, Agatha stopped in her tracks. Aerons green hood and gleaming eyes brought memories she would never lose. "Aeron...my boy?" She asked uncertainty.

"Yea... Ah, here comes the diplomat now, Malcom forced him to pay in gold for finding the princess, upfront!" The barmaid said in a low voice, inclining her head toward where the diplomat was coming down the stairs, trailed by two guards. The diplomat stomped over to his table while his assistant brought him stacks of parchment, which he started reviewing.

Aeron quickly dismounted and not bothering to hitch his steed, he started towards her half running, "Aga, I never would have guessed in a thousand moons I would see thee again! How art ye?!" Aeron reached her, beaming at the old Zurian.

Agatha drew Aeron close for a hug. "I am as I always have been, old!" She scoffed. "And ye my boy, how art ye?". A smile stretched across her face as she recalled countless memories of Aeron as a young boy. She was mentioning him inside when she noticed Karok. "Who accompanies ye? Got yerself to trouble 'gain?" Agatha asked as if to chastize.

Karok remained still and did not dare to approach without Aeron's order. He was still shocked at this greeting between the thief and shaman.

Aeron hugged her back and laughed at the reply, then answered, "I am as well as I could hope to be, no one has tried to kill me for two dens!" he started forward, but at Agathas question, stopped, looked back at Karok and answered quickly, "That is my good friend, Karok, and I was in trouble, by him in fact! We now travail with another Wildfolk, Kira, in search for the missing human princess." He knew that with the runes, she probably had already learned of the heirs disappearance. Aeron smiled at Karok and argued him to follow with a wave of his hand.
