Also, what if the pip is underneath, and not on top? Any issues there?

When my broody got off her nest this morning to take a stretch and poop and take a quick dust bath, I heard peeps coming from one egg. But then they stopped. It's 5 hours later and no chicks. Do you think the peeper died? This is Day 21. It's the first and only peep I heard.

We've seen no progression now in about 6 hours. One egg has a small pip, but is moving. One has a larger pip, but is not moving. Another has no pip that we can see, but it could be on the bottom. This egg has moved nearly 90 degrees since last night, on it's own. Kind of afraid the pip is on the bottom. It's moving a TON. Some peeping...getting stressful here, because I get the feeling there is issues. But...they say not to panic. I dunno....

I do hear peeps, after all! I haven't looked for pips, but there are still peeps, so I have hope!

Today mine are due to hatch.
I have 3 crele OEG eggs. The other day i could see the egg moving and i could hear a faint tapping. Good luck with your hatch!

I hear louder peeping inside the coop this morning. I was going to sleep in there last night but decided it might not be a good idea. It's still chilly out, so I'm waiting to open the door until it warms up. Don't want to chill the chicks. I wonder how many are hatched, IF any are hatched, and how many, IF any, are left to hatch?
