Added a few more chicks to my June Ideal order. Setting eggs next month. Really want to set them now, but most people up here won’t buy chicks when it’s this cold & lots of snow still. I have a buyer all set for my Easter-ish chicks. Hope they don’t back out, but they seem excited to get them!

Yeah, if you can get a quick commit and pick up it feels a lot better than days, weeks, months. I sold some last week and she came 2 days early. I was like, yes plz you can definitely come early!

I'm pulling them out of the hatcher when I get home today. I think there are 8 or nine of the ones that just hatched. Three that are like 3-4 weeks old. And then there's another 30 in the incubator?

Thankfully they all seem to be pure buff and blues. I see no saddles to indicate Pomeranian mongrel children. And I think the Pom hen isn't laying, so I'll move her and the Pom gander once I don't need a paddleboat to get out there.
