Just wabted to show off some of my birds from this year. 5 leghorns, 2 BCs and a Wyandotte

First up is Ratchet, a silver pullet

Also wanted to show off Jezabelle, who is 1/2 Spitzhauben, 1/4 Standard Ameraucana and 1/4 Bantam Cochin. Out of 5 eggs, she was the only girl.

Is there a specific type of pattern she has on her neck? It's almost like double lacing to me, but genetically that makes no sense.

I haven't noticed many mosquitoes this year. Maybe there were more earlier in the year, but there aren't many now. I slapped one and fed it to Baba earlier, but that's about it.
Something does like biting my ankles, though. Not sure if it's mosquitoes or gnats, though.
