She is the princess of the house. Long ago we got her from a Police dog trainer and she guarded this property and house when it was derelict and we were coming on weekends to work on it and fix it up. She was all alone during the week,only seeing me once a day when I came to feed and water her. I was always in a hurry to get out of there and back home. I could see she was hungry for attention.One of our former neighbors had one of those. She was really sweet, but, then about nine years old and much smaller than I am now, was terrified of her.
How times have changed -- now I think that German Shepherds are so cute. Fierce-looking, but cute. My younger self would have a fit.
Once we moved into the property full time I announced that she was going to stay inside with us. She deserves it and more.
All the thunderstorms;and one hurricane; she was all by herself just using an empty shipping container that I put in the property for shelter. I fell in love with her and her loyalty.
She's our baby.
