I don't even ask any questions on the main forum because of the often mushy answers. Natural evolution to the local area is my selector.
Nearly 30 years of chicken keeping might have hardened me to some things as well. Unless it's something I just can't afford losing genetically, I'll usually let nature take it's course. I feed a quality feed and do a deworming 4-ish times a year.
