At least in breeds that aren't well-established. I don't mind looking at Mille Fluer OEGB or D'Uccle for instance. But even Jubilee Orpingtons make me twitch sometimes.

There is only 1 good thing about those colors... they sell like hotcakes as "pets" cos everyone wants a "fancy" looking chicken in their yard.
Those "fancy" looking chickens probably never see a rooster in their lifetime either which is probably a good thing

I got regular chickens. I’m looking for whatever gets me into the pockets of a whole other niche. Plus they make great incubators if the power goes out.

I ain't hating.
I was thinking about getting back into them myself for parades and such.
Their little fluffy fat @sses would be perfect for shooting out of oversized potato guns into the crowds.
Kids love confetti cannons. It couldn't go wrong.
