The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Is he young? Very old? Sick? Wormy? Check him over good for parasites and de-worm him. Usually a healthy rooster is on a hen like white on rice.
He's attached to another pen emotionally. He paces the fence all day. Let them all out he hangs out with Oliver and the silkies🫤 then goes back to the girls at night to be put up. I just started letting them out because of the pacing issue.

Oliver is another rooster. He's out of my golden blue duckwing EE and silver Phoenix hens.

The Spitzhauben might be gay, lol. Or he could just be a bros before hen guy.

Speaking of roosters being on a hen like white on rice, that reminds me of a funny random, kinda off-topic, but also kinda relevant story. We have a kind of "special" rooster that free ranges who hops instead of runs (not sure why). Like how little birds hop instead of run. So you would think that would slow him down from running down a hen. Wrong. He hops after them at warp speed and then the hens get tired of being chased and just squat. lol The rooster's name is Bunny. Where there is a will, there is a way.

Hmm he may not have a high enough testosterone level to drive him to breed. Usually testosterone produced by their gonads drives them to be more "hens before bros." Maybe try moving him to where he can't see his bros. So he focuses on the hens. If after all that he still isn't cutting the mustard, cull him for sure.

I had a little boar pig once I named wart. Wanna guess why?

I'm an unconventional lady. Raised up on motor coss races and horse braking. Dad kinda treated me like boy. You can do anything you want and then some.

He is bottom of the rooster order when he's out. Tiny OEGB roosters put him in his place by just running at him.
