The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Have done well hatching from a trio this spring. Close to 80 over the last 9 weeks. A lot of sorting to do. The breed and the variety is new to me, leaving me to have to grow out a lot of mature birds to see what their strengths and weaknesses are.

What do you have there?
Look columbian?

@moonshiner, if you were offered Italian Leghorns, would you accept or decline? Personally, I would decline because they are too exaggerated compared to the American variety, and I find them odd, but I would like to hear what you would do.
Their combs are the size of their bodies...
I'd probably accept them. And if a color that I need would surely accept them.
If you're talking blacks I would just because a lot of blacks hear are lacking. They seem to be like exchequer and under size.
Those are like the ones in the UK. I agree they look odd and I don't prefer them so much but they could be worked with.
I had a black tailed red with a huge comb like that and as ugly as he was it can be used to help with hens that have a smaller comb. Which is common for the rarer colors.

That makes sense. I'm not really a Leghorn person though, so to me it's just overkill.
