That sucks but sounds like he had a good run.I lost a rooster today too. My old White Legbar rooster was drooped up today and he wouldn't eat, so I took that as a sign he was at the end of his life. He was very old, one of my originals and I've had them for many years. So hubby culled him. He had a great life, breeding hens and living high on the hog. So I will put the little Silver Crele NNer in with the Legbar hens. It was like it was meant to be.
. I rehomed him several years ago.
