We have Welsummers, including a lovely rooster named Henry. He's gorgeous and looks just like the Kellog's Cornflakes rooster, which is also a Welsummer.
He has a huge plume of backend feathers (well, until the coyote took care of that), and his feathers are iridescent in the sun. Around the neck are these beautiful rusty gold feathers, long and kind of narrow. It's like a crown.
He also has a huge, full, vibrant comb and a nice, dangly wattle.

I second the vote for Partridge Plymouth Rock roosters. They are quite stunning. Most of the pics I've seen of them just don't do them justice - they are very vivid and colorful in real life.New Hampshire roosters are quite snazzy too,
so are Partridge Plymouth Rock roosters.![]()
