Ameraucanas are supposed to lay around 300 a year and EE's should be right there with leghorns around 340 a year. I have 3 EE's and I get at least 2 eggs a day from them. My leghorn I get a egg every day except on holidays lol

Guess I will look at them again in the future since I like them as birds.

It could be the diet I have always mixed my feed. I make sure they have mealworms and granite mixed in their food. A small bag of each mixed with a 40lb bag of organic flock raiser

My EE girls lay pretty much everyday they have one skip day a month when they aren't molting of course. Like TexasSam they've always got mealies and usually peanuts too.

I was thinking doing something with a black sumatra! I wished they were easy to get around here, I would definitely get a black sumatra hen!
