Brid laughed a bit. “I guess. Oh, I’ve been meaning to ask you guys, why do you think you were chosen? I mean, I don’t think anyone here actually knows, but what do you think the reason might be?” She glanced up at Fox as she spoke, straightening her glasses. “I haven’t been able to figure out why telling time would be useful against bugs. And as far as I know my singing only works on humans and occasionally parrots.”
“What time is it, exactly?” Cam wondered, staring at the darkening sky ponderously. “Maybe we were chosen for good character... I was probably chosen for my plant abilities, but it could be my dad for his speed and agility, or my mom for... motherliness?” As far as Cam could tell, her mother would have been as useless to this group as herself.
She gave a helpless glance at Kyle, but he pretended to be uninvolved in the whole stone choosing process.

"Nobody chose me. I was a magpie and saw a shiny object."

Fox paused as they neared the group. His wrist and ankle was aching horribly, and what felt like a hundred little cuts scattered across his body. He gritted his teeth, pushing past it and following them. "I don't know." He muttered. "Nothing about me is special, I don't even has much knowledge on bugs."

“I think.... I was chosen for my lasers” Ellie said contemplating the question.

Fred decided he wanted in. “I think i just found it. It was probably meant for my brothers” Fred said

Take overheard the others sharing whether or not they had been chosen. He still had the stone in his back pocket. How could he have been chosen if he found it randomly just because of its appearance? He had all these superhuman abilities, probably more than the rest of the people here. Take stood facing away from everyone, not sharing along. He scratched his back, staring up at the rolling dark clouds.

Charlie, who had been wandering after everyone, jogged to catch up with him. "Hey, uh, I'm Charlie." He glanced towards the forest as he spoke. "I heard people talking about killer trees..?" He offered Take a lopsided grin.

Name: Charlie
Gender: Male
Physical description and abilities: Black hair, dark brown eyes, 15 years old, 5' 6". Wears loose sweatshirts and jeans. Known for getting distracted easily and being extremely random. Has a very strange sense of humor.
Charlie has the ability to turn invisible. Unfortunately, he can't really control it. Luckily it turns his clothes invisible too. Most of the time.
He can sometimes even turn other people invisible if he's touching them.
Reason the person was chosen (or happened upon a stone): He found it on the pavement. Not exactly sure of the reason. Probably his powers.
